This means keeping you at a safe distance from other vehicles and pedestrians,
and even responding to unexpected situations in real time.
Smart Cruise Control (SCC, depicted above) helps you maintain a safe distance
from the vehicle ahead at the speed you set. If the vehicle ahead stops abruptly,
the Sorento Hybrid automatically stops and then resumes acceleration.
It warns you if there is a risk of collision with a rear-side
vehicle in the blind-spot while changing lanes. When forward
exiting a parallel-parking spot, it automatically assists with
emergency braking if a risk of collision with a vehicle
approaching from behind is detected.
Provides a warning if there is a risk of collision with a
rear object while reversing. It automatically assists with
